Street Art Sunday – Barcelona, Spain

By The Messy Optimist

So – every Sunday – whichever part of the world I am – I’m going to get out images of raw street art that I find and post it here. It can be anything from paintings, chalk drawings on walls, graffiti, murals, photographs, weird store and restaurant names and logos, interesting and striking doors and walls and gates, interesting play on language – just about anything that is unique and artistic – by way of colors and language – I’m going to feature it here.

I think the entire city of Barcelona – with it’s own artistic superstar son, Antoni Gaudi – is sheer art. From the Sagrada Familia to Casa Mila to Casa Battlo – Gaudi is everywhere.

But these pictures I took of random street art still caught my eye.

FYI: I know NOTHING about paintings or photography. So, I apologize if these are not quite to your taste. I just thought these pictures of street art and some interesting play on words were fun and interesting.

Enjoy!

  • When even random street doors are inspired by the ‘son’ of Barcelona – Antoni Gaudi
  • When it’s NOT AirBnB but but just AnB!
